Film Festival

We are to conduct biannual Online Short Film Festival (summer and winter) in order to highlight and promote the talent Pakistan has to offer in entertainment industry. We encourage members and general public to make 5-10 mins short films and submit their entries to be judged by Industry’s 4 biggest names (Actor, Actress, Director and Producer). We aim provide opportunity to the talent out there to showcase their talent to the world.

Terms and Conditions

  • Entry Form needs to be completed and submitted.
  • All entries will be submitted online via YouTube or Vimeo secured link (password protected). Top 10 films will be announced at the final event. Top winners will be invited at the final event along with Judges and open audience.
  • We will be announcing a specific item 1 month prior to the submission date. All submitted films must include the announced item to qualify. The item can be included visually, verbally, or in any way the filmmaker chooses.
  • Entry Fee needs to be paid in full and the receipt must be submitted with the entry.
  • All content, songs, soundtracks, visuals and graphics must be original. If you use another artist’s content as part of your short film, you must provide a permission letter from that artist. Failure to provide a permission letter will result in disqualification.
  • All actors, crew and professionals involved in the film must sign a contract with the producer. All contracts must be submitted with the entry. Draft contracts and forms are available for free download under the Forms & Contracts tab. Failure to provide contracts will result in disqualification.
  • All actors, crew and professionals involved in the film must be registered PakFunkar members to qualify for entry.
  • All submitted entries must not be publicly available on any other platform prior to the announcement of the Top 10. Top 10 announced films will become the property of PakFunkar and will only be uploaded on PakFunkar platforms for public viewing.
  • Top 10 films will only be permitted to upload on their own platform 1 year after the final event.
