PakFunkar is an online platform for the creative industry of Pakistan. We encourage talent to interact and collaborate with each other in order to produce original and outstanding content. It also serves as the most effective job search engine for the creative/talent industry. PakFunkar is the only website in Pakistan of its kind. Our objective is to develop and promote talent by providing them with work opportunities and an effective platform to showcase their talent — including our biannual Online Short Film Festival.

Our mission is to encourage and guide the talent in Pakistan to flourish and provide opportunities to display their talent. We aim to connect PakFunkar members with industry professionals to work on projects of their dreams. PakFunkar provides guidance towards implementing professional practices and works towards building a stronger, more connected Pakistan — and a stronger presence for Pakistani creative talent on the world stage.

Hassan Bajwa

CEO  |  Director & Writer

An accomplished filmmaker based in Australia, Hassan brings a global perspective to everything PakFunkar does. With a portfolio spanning short films, music videos, television, and advertising, he has developed feature film scripts and produced creative work across multiple continents. Hassan founded PakFunkar to create the professional home for Pakistani creatives he always wished had existed — a platform that bridges local talent with international opportunity.

 

Rabiyya Ijaz

COO  |  Associate Producer

With over 12 years of hands-on experience across film, television, web series, and commercial production, Rabiyya is the operational backbone of PakFunkar. A National College of Arts (NCA) graduate, she has worked as a writer, director, assistant director, and producer, giving her a 360-degree understanding of how productions are made. At PakFunkar, she oversees talent relations, film festival operations, contracts, and the day-to-day workflows that keep the platform running.

 

Fawad Awan

Creative Director

A Visual Communication Design graduate from the National College of Arts (NCA), Fawad is one of Pakistan’s most versatile creative directors. His career spans leading advertising agencies and major production houses, where he has shaped the visual identity of some of Pakistan’s most recognised brands and productions. Kirsty Budding

A writer, producer, and arts entrepreneur based in Canberra, Australia, Kirsty is the founder of Budding Entertainment — one of Australia’s most active independent creative companies, encompassing a talent agency, theatre company, education programs, and a production house. As PakFunkar’s international partner, Kirsty opens doors for Pakistani creatives to be represented and showcased on Australian stages and screens.
